Andrea Suarez
FOUNDER & COLOR + EXTENSIONS SPECIALIST
Salon owner, educator, and master stylist, Andrea moved back to Tampa after working in different places around the country to create a space that gave her clients a luxury experience while giving a comfortable, laid back salon environment. Since the salon opening, Gilded has grown exponentially and Andrea continues to find new and improved ways to create the best client experience possible.
Andrea began her career at the Aveda Institute in New York City and continued her education by traveling to other cities around the country to study and train with master and celebrity stylists including: Nine Zero One salon in California, Tracey Cunningham, Johnny Ramirez, Mane Ivy, Kaitlyn Brown, Daniel M Beauty, Hair by Marissa Sue, and Val Plunk, owner of Salt Strands.
Andrea has previously lived and worked in New York City and Nashville as both a color and extensions specialist. Andrea is IBE® (Invisible Bead Extensions) and NBR™ (Natural Beaded Rows) certified and has since studied a variety of other hand tied extension methods. She continues studying other methods, so that she can always recommend what’s best for each individual guest.
Learning so many techniques and experimenting on her own has allowed her to develop a method that she believes best meets the needs of her clients, while maintaining the integrity and health of her client’s hair. Her extension method always prioritizes a seamless blend, health of the hair, and a natural, effortless result.
Ever so passionate about educating and training her team, Andrea continues to use all of her past education and knowledge to lead her team toward becoming the best stylists possible. Andrea hopes to continue growing Gilded Salon and work toward being the best leader for her salon family.

Victoria Fernandez
COLOR SPECIALIST
A true local, Victoria was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. She graduated from Summit Salon Academy in 2016 and began her hair career by gaining experience locally as a stylist. In 2020, she started assisting Andrea as an apprentice for a year and has since become a senior stylist here at Gilded, certified in extensions and specializing in dimensional color.
She is always open to learning and educating herself on how to give her clients the best look imaginable, even if they didn’t think it was possible!
During her days off, she enjoys trying new restaurants, going to the beach, and traveling when she can. A self- proclaimed beauty and fashion lover, she likes to keep up with the current trends, so that she can then bring that knowledge to her clients.

Marissa Day
COLOR + EXTENSIONS SPECIALIST
A native of Tampa, she has more than six years of experience in the industry. She specializes in lived-in color and has been certified in several extension methods as well as Brazilian blowouts.
Kind, thoughtful and driven, Marissa is always finding ways to educate herself in order to provide the most current trends and techniques to her clients.
When not behind the chair, you can find her in a spin class or laying low at home with her husband and 3-year-old daughter.

Molly Reeves
COLOR + EXTENSIONS SPECIALIST

Born and raised in Tampa, Molly is Gilded’s salon manager and emerging stylist. She attended undergrad at FSU, and then went back to school and graduated from Aveda Cosmetology School in February 2021. She is certified in extensions and specializes in lived-in color.
Molly is funny, caring, and hardworking and prides herself on being very personable with clients. Her ultimate goal? To make people feel great about themselves and bring clients’ visions to reality.
A self-proclaimed “dog obsessed” person, in her off-hours you can find her out with friends sipping margaritas or cozying up with her puppy Stanley.
Her personal mantra: “If you’re not having fun, it’s not for you.”

Karissa Carroll
COLOR + EXTENSIONS SPECIALIST
Born and raised in Clifton Park, NY, Karissa has brought her styling career here to South Tampa after working as a stylist in New York for a year. She attended the University of Albany for college, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing. After college, she went to Paul Mitchell, graduating in 2020.
She is certified in hand-tied extensions and currently learning our unique Gilded Extension Method while working as an individual stylist and assisting under our founding stylist Andrea Suarez.
Karissa is social, enthusiastic, and hard working. Her goal in the hair industry is to make her clients have a better relationship with their hair then they did before they sat down her in chair. She wants her clients to feel confident and beautiful when they leave the salon.
In her off hours, she loves to hang out with her puppy Shai and go to the beach with friends.

Maddie Sumiejski
Emerging Stylist
Maddie grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved here to Tampa this past January. She recently graduated from hair school at Aveda last October.
At the salon, you will find her assisting the other stylists with coloring, hand-tied extensions, shampoos, treatments, blowouts and more. She is now accepting and taking her own clients doing the same types of services as well.
In her free time, she loved going to the beach, traveling, and considers herself a “dessert connoisseur.” She says that she “simply cannot resist anything chocolate!”

Brooke Boisclair
Salon apprentice
Brooke now proudly calls Tampa, Florida home after making the move in 2019. Her journey into the beauty industry began at Paul Mitchell Citrus Park, inspired by her mother who served as a spa director at a salon/spa. As a child, Brooke's favorite pastime was watching people get pampered and styled, igniting her passion for the artistry and care that goes into making others feel their best.
Currently thriving as an assistant at Gilded, Brooke continues to learn and grow professionally in the beauty industry. This role not only allows her to hone her skills but also to contribute to the beauty and wellness community she is deeply passionate about.
Beyond work, Brooke embraces the sunny Florida lifestyle, enjoying activities like taking her dog for swims at Picnic Island and hosting laid-back Sunday cookouts with friends by the pool. These moments recharge her creativity and connect her with the vibrant community around her.

Kylee Lane
Salon apprentice
Introducing Kylee from Dade City, FL, where she kicked off her beauty journey at Summit Salon Academy in Tampa. With a lifelong passion for all things beauty, she knew early on that this was her calling. Currently rocking it as a Salon Assistant at Gilded, Kylee’s all about perfecting her craft and making clients feel amazing.
When she’s not at the salon, you’ll find Kylee soaking up the sun by the water or chilling at the beach – her happy places. She’s also a craft enthusiast, always on the lookout for cool DIY projects to try with her friends.
At home, Kylee’s surrounded by a mini zoo of 11 animals: four dogs, two cats, two pigs, two donkeys, and a horse. Yep, she’s got her hands full!
With her love for beauty, creativity, and animals driving her, Kylee’s on a mission to keep learning and making a difference in everything she does.
